I was so excited to photograph Tony and Maya's wedding. I just knew it was going to be amazing. I began photographing the event the day before getting photos of all the beautiful details that Mark Kintzel put together to create an amazing venue for the bride and groom. I will post pics of all those details soon. The wedding took place on Mayas grandmothers organic family farm where she spent many of her days growing up. Gorgeous paths through the woods were made as we walked to the ceremony where hay bales were set up for the guests to be seated. Firepits set up around the reception tent with big baskets filled of marshmallows and chocolates. All the flowers from the wedding were grown on the farm and everything was organic from the food to even the drinks. Maya looked gorgeous and was as sweet as could be. Tony's family came from England and I just loved their accents. They were so much fun. And Tony had an amazing speech at the wedding, the best ever! Thank you to Jenae Holtzhafer for shooting this wedding with me. I was so happy to be a part of this day, and thank you Tony and Maya for giving me this opportunity. Here is a small glimpse of their day.

I have some more to share with you from Jim & Stephanie's wedding. Jim & Stephanie really love cycling so they included it in their day. They had a photo of them riding on a tandem bike for their Save the Date invite and even incorporated it on their invitations. So they brought the tandem bike to the wedding for photos of them sitting on it. I learned so much about them from their wedding just because of all the details they put into their day. You'll see from the library to cycling, and Steph's grandmothers famous cookies (and they were delicious!!).

Brenda is an amazing singer, song writer, guitar player, and mommy. She contacted me to photograph her latest CD cover and I was so excited. We had so much fun, especially when we got kicked off this private property spot we just accidentally didn't realize we were on : ) As soon as the woman left, I snapped off a few more quick shots of Brenda because the location was so perfect. We were laughing and I think it was our best shots of the shoot. So thank you lady for kicking us off : ) Brenda also made these really super large bubble wands (that now I can't wait to make for my kids) and we had some fun with those too. Check out Brenda's site at www.brendakahn.com and look out for her new album coming soon, you don't want to miss. She also has a lot of performances coming up as well, would be a great night out. Thanks Brenda for contacting me!

There is so much to say about this beautiful wedding I photographed on Saturday. Stephanie is such a sweetheart and has been such a joy to work with while she planned her wedding. Stephanie's attention to detail made her and Jim's day so personal that I truly learned so much about them from all the special details she put into their day. Their families were so wonderful and I felt like part of their family that day, thank you : ) I just started editing through all the photos and wanted to post a few for a sneak peak. Stephanie's love for books brought us to shoot at the Lehigh University Library before the ceremony. It was amazing and we had so much fun taking photos there. The girls really had me laughing the whole time. Plus the fact that her mother and father graduated from Lehigh and all her siblings attended there, made it all the more special. So much more to share about this day and will post the wedding soon. I love the photo of Stephanie holding her bouquet in the air at the library. She just did that on her own because she was so excited. I loved that moment. More to come soon..

I love that they choose to be photographed in the library! The spiral stairs are so pretty. You can certainly see the brides 'joie de vie' with her bouquet in the air. Beautiful as always, Stephanie.

Where did the year go? My daughter turned 8 and it was time to have fun again and plan her birthday party with her girlfriends. I thought well since we live in the woods that a woodland theme would be really fun. So, of course I went to Etsy. I came across this adorable birdhouse by this amazingly talented woman named Jamie. I emailed her to ask her if she could make these for my daughters party and that's when everything came together. She said she could also make me cupcake toppers as well to match the adorable toad stool stamp that she puts on the birdhouses. I went to her whimsical website at www.aforestfrolic.com and loved all her ideas. She had done a terrarium project with her daughters, which then I had to do for the party. So thank you Jamie for the adorable party favors and inspiration. I love reading your blog and seeing what you are up to next.

Well, then I came across these amazing cupcakes that my friend had posted on her facebook page. They are made by a very talented artist named Amy from www.cakechicdesigns.com in Macungie. I had to contact her after seeing her beautiful designed cupcakes. I told her my theme and showed her photos. She said why doesn't she pipe grass along the edges and sprinkle glitter on top to match the birdhouses and toppers. Well they were just adorable and let me tell you THE BEST cupcakes I ever tasted. Check out these other delicious cupcakes she makes as well. Contact Amy for your wedding, parties, anything, you will be so happy!

I was so excited when Colleen contacted me to tell me she was pregnant and expecting a baby boy named Jack. I had photographed Colleen and Chris's beautiful wedding at The Weyhill Guest House at the Saucon Valley Country Club so we decided to go back there again for this photoshoot. It was a perfect morning for weather, just like their wedding day. Hope you love them Colleen and Chris. There are many more, but I just chose a few to show. Colleen just looked stunning and so naturally beautiful. And check out handsome Wyatt who is soon going to have a little brother to play with.

Stephanie - The photos are just beautiful... and the pictures of Wyatt take our breath away! We can't wait to see the rest, and to share them with Jack someday. He will cherish them, knowing how much his family loved him before he even made his debut! Thank you!

A beautiful day for a beautiful event. My daughter received her First Communion on May 1st. I felt like I was photographing a wedding from the beautiful shoes, the veil, the dress. She said she felt like a bride. Her innocence and sweetness, how she twirled around in her dress, as she walked into the church, and as she prayed to God for peace in the World. We could only hope and pray for a beautiful and happy future for her and for all the children. It was a day I will hold dear in my heart.

To all the very talented and creative women who helped to make this day special. My good friend Kathryn from Kempton Floral Designs ,www.kemptonfloraldesign.com, made the gorgeous bouquet for my daughter. And now two weeks later it still sits in her room in a vase looking lovely. I've seen Kathryn's work at many weddings I have photographed and I just admire her for her talent in creating such unique and elegant floral designs. The butterfly napking rings I found on Etsy at Paper Acorn, the edible butterflies on the cupcakes are from Sugar Robot on Etsy,  the butterflies on the glasses from The Posh Event on Etsy, the Poms hanging in the chandelier from Pom Love on Etsy,  and the cupcake wrappers from www.thecupcakewrappercompany.com. I have so much fun decorating, but couldn't do it on my own without the help of many creative women. Thank you all! Just go to www.etsy.com to find the listing for the shops above.

Just the name makes you want to go. We took a long weekend getaway with the family and headed off to Mystic, CT and then onto Newport, RI. It was just beautiful and so many wonderful photo opportunities. From the seaport, the aquarium, the mansions, and walking along the coast of Newport, it was a great trip. I'm pretty sure the kids had enough of me and my camera for those few days.
